At long last, Chapter 8 is on it’s way! The first page will be up in two days (The night of the 28th!), hopefully you guys like this chapter! It’s starring some of the characters people seem to like a little less, but I think this will help with that! Good to be drawing Arthur again!
Welcome to chapter 8! Sorry about being a few (3 and a half) Hours late uploading the VERY first page! It is 100% my bad, with even less of an excuse than usual. I kid you not, I did nothing today, not one thing, it just slipped my mind completely. That’s what I get for being ahead on pages! Anyways, I’m hoping things will run pretty smoothly around here for a while. See you in two days for a new page!
Hopefully you guys are liking this chapter so far? I know the last Arthur chapter is where I lost a lot of readers, hoping this one’s more interesting though? Do let me know, I have trouble balancing out all the characters stories, your guys’ input definitely helps decide who gets more or less of a spotlight!

It’s been over a year since he’s been in the comic, I never imagined it would take so long for this reunion to come to pass, but I’ve been making an effort to make the story slower paced, since I try to write the comic like it’s a graphic novel. If anybody remembers back to chapter 4, Arthur has slightly different plans. This page was really nice to write though, I’ve always seen these two as best friends, even though I’ve never gotten the chance to really show it!
I’m pretty bad at doing exposition, but there were some blanks that needed to be filled! I know this chapters a bit slow, but we needed some character development for a few of the adults in the comic, and we needed a slow chapter before the next one!
Well, It’s official, I’m not ahead anymore! sorry for the slight quality drop on this page folks, I had to do the inking at school to get it done on time! It’s a shame, because I really like this page! In case it isn’t clear, those scribbles in Gordons word bubbles are talking noises, Arthur just isn’t listening. That’s not something I see in comics much so I thought I should make sure you guys know it’s not just for no reason oops
Hey guys, sorry this page is late! I’ve been good this chapter about staying ahead, but it’s the last week of courses at school, so I fell behind. At least it’s the right day (just)! Thanks for all the people who stopped by to the stream I did on Instagram while finishing this page up, it was lots of fun! I’ll definitely be doing a couple more of those this week while I catch up on comics again! (Im splarflord on there by the way!) Anyways I have the last day of some classes tomorrow, so I’d better sleep, I really didn’t mean to be up so late!
Sorry I’m slightly late for the THIRD time in a row! I’ve been finishing these right at midnight, Guess I haven’t had as much time as I’d hoped! Still haven’t technically missed an update yet this chapter tho, so that’s an improvement!
By the way, that last panel is Gordons mind being blown. I thought it was a really funny panel, but then I drew it in a way that looks like Gordon is shocked by a real life explosion behind him, twas not my intention!
Woohoo! This is fun! This isn’t a big plot twist, but I’ve known about this scar (and how it got there) since before Gordon was in the comic, but I never got the chance to show it till now! Well see you in two days folks!

Ahh! This is so exciting, there’s so many little backstories with these characters that I’m FINALLY getting to explore a bit! I know this chapters been a bit boring, but It’s been a great opportunity to develop some of the least fleshed out characters (the dads and the ultra dad)!
This chapter picks up a bit quicker than the others, Writing two pages without these two getting in a fight didn’t feel right!
First comic of 2017!!! 2016 pretty much sucked, so hopefully this year is a bit better for everyone!
Writing these pages is requiring me to have really good memory of events I drew more than a year ago in chapter 2, The last time Rupert was in the comic!
