Yikes, boring dialogue heavy pages like this are really hard for me to draw! Some of you more diligent readers might remember Ross and Dominick from last chapter, where they made a brief appearance! I’ll see you in two days when you’ll find out why the last two panels of this page are so weird!
Aaaaaand I’m officially out of school now! I was worried I would miss a few updates at the end there, but it ended up being alright! I’m so happy I’m going to have some free time now, I can really do this chapter right and stick the landing on this first half of the story! Come back in two days for another page!
We’ve hit 60 pages! Yikes, remember when chapters had a 20 page max? They should be getting shorter from here on out, there was a lot going on this chapter! Not long left now, for real!
I know it’s been a bit since we saw these guys, and we didn’t get to spend as much time on them as I woulda liked to, but Clarissa had a pretty personal connection with these two! I thought we should see them again before the chapter’s over. Also, I know the end of this page isn’t as punchliney (not as in jokey, but like in webcomic terms) as most, I decided to write these next few pages all at once as a sequence. If all goes well I’ll be uploading a couple pages tomorrow!
